We all already have lot of knowledge about prana, salt & nutrition but there are many other things which are hidden because of product marketing, lack of awareness and having rigid viewpoint of our thinking pattern. Since, science had already discovered many nutritious things from the chemical viewpoint but there is some lacking or not aware of the existence of prana.
Prana is a Sanskrit word which means energy or life force. There are many types of color prana contained in our food and how prana affects the human body.
We all know that preserved food contains less amount of nutrition value in comparison with the fresh ones. The fresh food contains more nutrition value and our body also allows them to absorb it very efficiently, and this is because it contains more prana. The same principal also applies to synthetic and natural vitamins. As usual natural vitamins and minerals are having more prana so their effectiveness becomes more potent.
In many homes people tend to eat overcooked food, only just for the taste and more overly they also add salt just to satisfy their tongue. But we don’t know that how much it is harmful for our body. In my previous blog of SALT: EXCUSE ME , you will see that how and in what many ways we are destroying our body just for the sake of taste. So by overcooking food not only destroys some of its chemical nutrients but also releases a lot of its prana due to prolonged heating.
Every color has its significance and properties so thus reflecting in our food also. A balanced diet must include proper nutrition, fresh food but as well as proper mix of color pranas require to keep the body healthy. So it is advisable to prepare dishes having many colors.
What & how to eat without salt:
Through my own experience I have noticed that by not putting salt in our food we tend to experience their original taste. Many people may have difficulties to stop salt instantly but do it gradually by consuming it lesser and lesser everyday till salt less. You may also add lemon instead of adding salt to level the taste. We are the only living beings as humans who consume salt. No any other animal or living species require salt to eat their food.
Our western medicine is very different from herbal and Ayurvedic medicine. With western medicine, the approach is material or chemical. With herbal medicine or Ayurvedic medicine the approach is more subtle, soothing or refined because this pranic energy is maintaining pranic harmony within the body.
Try to avoid non-vegetarian food as much as possible because it contains coarser or grosser energy and requires more energy and longer time to digest it, rather than eat fresh fruits because it is pre-cooked and pre-digested by God itself.
So, be smart to understand and apply all these things into your daily life and always remember that where there is health, wealth flows.
