Yoga was developed about 5,000 years ago by indus saraswati civilization and was also mentioned in the oldest sacred texts, the Rig Veda, which also contains songs, mantras and some of the rituals were to be used by brahmans or the Vedic priests. But now the yoga become very popular and practiced all over the world. By presenting it in a very nice modernize format to attract many people to join and take benefit. But with that somewhere on the line, it is losing its originality due to subcategorize it and because we many of us especially youngsters think that yoga is that thing in which we have to do certain physical exercises to keep our body fit. But let me tell you that they are also right but it is not the only function yoga does. Actually, apart from the hatha yoga, there are many more formats of yoga are as follows:-
Vinyasa/ Power yoga
Arhatic yoga, etc.
Yoga means “union with the god”. And if we want to put it into a perfect definition then yoga means “ Achieving oneness with your higher soul with the help of your physical body”.
Yoga works on all four levels: Physically, Mentally, Emotionally & Ethrically. Yoga works as a software to upgrade our hardware, thus to develop us in these all four aspects. If you do the yoga by choice then I guarantee you that it will transform yourself from within. Let me also remind you that yoga is also not a magic actually it is based on laws of nature. It will even help you to recognize yourself or recognize your true nature very deeply.
